Xkcd Forums, in my personal opinion, fail. IE8 froze when I opened a page, with the memory usage going to 200MB. I ended that process, and it instantly reopened, taking the same amount of memory. IE8 popped up a message saying that it had closed and reopened the tab. That wasn't very helpful.
